Someone destroyed Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star with a sledgehammer.
A sledgehammer, a construction hat, a vest, and “some sort of a pick” were recovered at the scene. An investigation is ongoing, a Los Angeles police spokesperson said. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce told BuzzFeed News that it was working with the police on the felony and “intends to prosecute to the full extent of the law.”

If the Mosul offensive is successful, the way the city is won by the Iraqi military and its allies — how many people are harmed, how many homes are destroyed, and how residents are treated along the way — will be critical to determining the success of the government that takes ISIS’s place. Activists have warned of a humanitarian crisis.
